WinGD is looking for a
Test Expert Field Testing

Responsibilities

  • Planning, organising and execution of Field Tests of engine components and systems on large 2 stroke marine engines at Licensees and vessels in service, worldwide
  • The planning and organisation of the tests is done in close contact with internal experts and externals parties, such as customers, service networks and classifications.
  • Creating test plans, risk assessments and work plans
  • Executing the installation, inspection and analysing of the test components.
  • Preparing extensive inspection reports, analysing the results and make recommendation to experts and propose improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum BSc degree in Mechanical, Marine engineering, Mechatronics, or similar discipline.
  • Knowledge and experience with 2 stroke combustion engines
  • Several years of experience as test engineer on 2 stroke engines is an advantage
  • Hands on mentality
  • Analytical and structured way of working
  • Resilient, also in hectic situations you stay on top of things
  • Willingness to travel and work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Practical MS Office knowledge
